True History Brewing

Had a good time last night at True History (St. Clair - Dufferin). It's an all German brewpub making great brews. Had the Dortmunder and Hefeweizen, both were classics, lots of body and flavour. Worth the trip to Dufferin and St. Clair for some tasty pints. Food is available.

This is a good one. Great to get so much flavour without the high alcohol. I think RB gives it a 99 and deservedly so.

The first Cask Days at Volo in '05 meeting all the beer geeks and the 15 - 20 cask ales which seemed amazing at that time. The Stones night at Volo in Feb./10 was crazy good. Drinking anything Stones makes you appreciate a good mild. The day after both events I'm still trying to forget.

This is ridiculous. Is Keep6 not the sole agent for Dieu Du Ciel? C'mon Ralph, there should be no admittance charge for this event.

When I read this I couldn't believe it. It's 2 blocks from where I grew up and currently living. It's great news but hazardous to health. This will drop my life expectancy by at least 10 years!!

Great day for cask days despite the weather. Tempest, Hellwoods, Red Racer ESB and Indie's Double Barrel Pumkin were highlights. Can't wait for next year. Thanks again Ralph.

Great story, not that i'll be in or around Richmond anytime soon but I love hearing this kind of stuff, thanks. I'm sure there thousands of bars and restaurants that have the unusual tap or bottle, somewhere off the beaten path.

Great news for sure, one of the best beers brewed in the country. To get this complex brew year-round would be a huge bonus in Ont.

This is good news albeit surprising. I remember the Monarch as a an old watering hole at 20 cents a glass to wash down a veal sandwich from Bitondo's across the street. Wow, and now cask ale......holy moly.

Just tried this last night. It's a good one not to be missed. Charlevoix rarely disappoints. Could be the best of the release.

Lupulus is a good one. Those living close to the Que. border are lucky. Looking forward to its arrival.
