Hey There, I thought I'd shed some light on how the craft pack brands were decided on. As a group, we didn't have much money or resources to devote to the creation of the mix 6, but we all felt there was a real power in branding 6 different brewery brands together - combined with the OCB sticker, wh...

I'd agree with that...its not a hit-you-over-the head beer that tends to do better on Ratebeer. Its still nice to get a positive review though!

LugTread

The hops in Lugtread (which are less than 1% of the ingredients) are not certified organic. We have not been able to source organic hops of the variety we need that meet our quality specs. For more info on what constitutes organic, you can check out http://www.omafra.gov.on.ca/english/crops/facts/06...

Golden taps

Thanks Lagerale, and yes we'll be at the Golden taps again this year. We're only just one year old and don't want to grow too fast, so I'm hoping the t-dot can bear with us while we get big enough to get beer down your way.

Cheers,

Steve

beer champs

Hey Perry, I guess I wasn't clear enough...earlier in the thread Greg mentioned that he posted the news on the front page after receiving the info from one of the winning brewers. While I appreciate Greg concealing from the group that it was sent from me, especially due to the rather negative reacti...

I'll answer that one for Matt. We did not have a booth at the event and we paid a $55 entry fee for the competition, which I found reasonable. The reason that I wanted to enter this particular competition is because of how disappointed I was with the Ontario Brewing Awards. Our brewery will not ente...
