Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Hey Jon, I certainly wasn't trying to single any one person out and my statement was more generalized to say that its time for us all to change the narrative about Ontario beer. In reading the thread here are a few lines that were coming up from a variety of posters: ...Ontario beer would be far bet...

Hmmmm...I've met Greg and thought he was a nice guy, I love the fact that he is pushing brewery ethics ahead of craft beer industry growth and agree that California is a beer mecca. If I can stand up for Ontario for a moment though, we have 1/3 the population in the province and virtually no access ...

We will bottle about 1/3 of each batch for sale at our retail store, but we expect that all of it will be sold before Oktoberfest is over. Anything leftover will likely go directly to our livers for further processing.

Festivale Plus - Secret Beer available Sept 9 only

AVAILABLE SEPTEMBER 9TH! Brewers of Alt Beer in Düsseldorf will occasionally, and secretly, brew a special, extra malty, extra hoppy version of their beer and only announce it the day before its release. It’s known as ‘sticke’ – German slang for ‘secret’ Beau's All Natural Brewing Co. is happy to at...

If price is your main concern, then there are beers that are produced in Ontario that are at the lowest legal price and up. If taste is your main concern then there are independently brewed Ontario beers that can hit the mark there as well. however if you look at the added (although somewhat hidden)...

I totally agree with opening up the retail system, but I'm giong to focus on one idea - If Ontarians drank an independent Ontario brewed beer 50% of the time what would the impact be. Without giving too much away before I speak, it should create 315 new breweries, well over 1,000 more brands of beer...

What if Ontario held a beer revolution?

If anyone is attending TFOB on Sunday, I'm going to be speaking at the Craft Beer Corner at 3pm and my topic will be: "What if Ontario had a beer revolution?" I'm going to discuss the impacts to availability of beer, the employment created and the economic spin-off that would result if Ont...
