Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

OK, thanks for clarifying. I didn't know they would have custom labels here in Can.

I am guessing (hoping) they are the fall seasonals brewed this year. We just got the K:rlek Höst/Vinter (Fall/Winter) 2014 released at the Systembolaget (Sweden's LCBO, sort of).

What picture are you referring to? A pic of the actual beer at the LCBO store?

The pic posted in this thread is from an even older edition.

Awesome!
I may have read about that they were starting a brewery in Whitby, but I had totally forgot about it.

Huge thanks for all suggestions so far :D

Yeah, a few pints and a bite to eat at the Granite pub will probably suit me better than a growler. It has been added to the list 👍🍻

Sort of. I am visiting just outside of Toronto for another 2 weeks or so. I will see what Granite have to offer, but I tend to go for diversity rather than large quantities of one beer, so growlers is not my best bet. I appreciate the hint regardless :)

Thanks ercousin. Much appreciated.

I'll make a list, and then narrow it down to a few depending on what is available.

Cheers.

Thanks for replying. Yeah, I kinda figured considering most breweries are doing seasonals etc Was looking at Sawdust (because I've liked what I have tried from them) and Flying Monkeys - OK so Barrie isn't within the GTA, but not that far anyways. Will have a further look, and contact a few to see w...

Recommended brewpubs / brewery stores in the GTA?

Any recommendations on what breweries are worth a visit, based on your own experiences? I've only been to a few (Mill Street, Nickel Brook, Church Key, Bellwood & Grand River). I am not referring as much to what tours are the best (never took one at any of the breweries I went to visit), but rat...

Thank you very much for straightening a few things out, Craig! To clarify, the "order only" range within Systembolaget, is a bit more complicated than what it may seem from my brief description. Also, the rules changed Sept 1st - to the worse for many breweries - but each craft brewery can...

A comparison between Canada and Sweden, and a few questions.

Hey! I have been lurking the Bar Towel forum on and off, and Cass was kind enough to set me up with an account, even though registrations are closed atm. I live in Sweden, but my intention is to move to Ontario within a year or so. Currently I spend some time a cpl of times/year in the GTA, and that...
