Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

Another screwup for the CBS At Summerhill today. The Founders website said that it would go on sale at 9:30 and to line up at 8:30. It has since been changed to 11:00 on their site. The good people at the LCBO were willing to sell to those silly few who got here before opening so that we wouldn’t h...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

I like the smaller format, but I'm guessing this comes with a cost per ml increase. My guess is this will be prices at $12.95 for a 500ml. The latest LCBO Food & Drink magazine featured KB and listed it at $14.95 for the 500ml version. LOLOLOLOL! Smart move Nickel Brook. I'm on the verge of avo...

It’s damn good. Join our CEO Mike Stevens and his team on December 13 ...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Some interesting listings popping up these days ... I saw the Westy 12, which I think someone on here learned from the BO was a "mistake" (weird mistake to make), but now also seeing some other nice Belgian listings (but no in-store availability as yet) such as: Liefmans Goudenband - LCBO...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

I was thinking the same thing but no I don't think so, the first one they came out with was the Quad, then the Stout with Coffee and Cocoa and the Quad with Cherries, now I guess this is just the Stout.

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

Looks like the woman who told me they were being released after Witchstock was wrong, but at least Barn Own 8 is coming out this Saturday. Also some new Barn Owl-themed glassware. https://www.instagram.com/p/BaHUKacBuJa/?taken-by=bellwoodsbeer Now I'm just waiting for those bottles of White Picket F...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

Had some Barn Owl #8 at Witchstock yesterday and it was pretty good. When I asked about a release date I was told it would be released today. I imagine the White Picket Fence variants will also be released sometime as they were also bottle pours. Edit: Well, it didn't show up so I guess we'll just h...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

The Strawberry Rhubarb Jelly King is definitely one of my favourite variants thus far. Light, refreshing, and some great strawberry flavour in there. Grabbed a couple extra bottles before the long weekend to share with out of towners and I'm glad I did.

Re: What're you drinking right now?

I missed out on the 2014,But I've got a '15 and '16 sitting in the fridge that I'll make a point to drinking before they're past their best. '15 might be past its best as it was a sour red ale. I last had it about 14 months ago and it had lost a lot of the sour character that it started with, thoug...

Re: LCBO Summer Craft Beer Release 2017

^^^just bought a couple of the Elvis juice. Havnt had yet, but a buddy told me it's pretty good I just grabbed and tried one last night. I concur with your buddy, it is pretty good. The (real) grapefruit zest flavour is pronounced, but not like one of those new-fangled fruity IPAs. In this one it's...
