1st class -> wine
2nd class -> spirits
3rd class -> beer

check the number of SKUs listed in any given bi-weekly "vintages" release

Re: Town Brewery

One year anniversary for these guys anot much love on here for these guys...as a Durham regioner I think it’s great to have them and Little Beasts in the scene and am a little saddened but not surprised at Brock St success...their beers are exactly in line with the macro tastes of this area I visit...

Head to head wet hop showdown. Bellwoods Bine Hunter 5.0% abv For sale on Oct 20 Amsterdam Autumn Hop 5.6% abv Canned Sept 21 I had these both recently too, and I agree that the Bine Hunter had more hop flavour. The Bellwoods info on Bine Hunter states that they use Fraser Valley hops. I don't know...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Whats the product number on the Spencer? I can’t find it in the system. You can find it at Speedvale lcbo(as of last Friday anyway) on shelves at various stores but not listed in the online system none of the "gift packs" are listed yet ... same happened last year. eventually the listings...

Yeah....Halloween week is about the earliest I remember seeing the Xmas stuff out.

on the bright side: fresher beer ...if memory serves, last time I had the Beers of Scotland they were pretty stale.

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

So you take one sour employee's word (who was fired I guess and plays the typical race card because if you're not white you can't be canned) over the brewery? Like everyone that worked there was racist? Give me a break. Guilty until proven innocent in the beer world now too I guess. Or maybe there ...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

CBS comin to LCBO in December in 355ml bottles priced around $9 - as per LCBO. 355? Is that a typo? No, Canada gets 12 oz bottles. Prefer the 12oz bottles, especially for high octane beer. However, given the recent employment/equity "issues" Founders have been mired in, think I'll pass on...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

On that note, bottled early August. Not bad for initial release of a California product. nearly 2 months old eh? yeah, "not bad" for an LCBO release but not fresh enough for an IPA. Learned a huge lesson in early August from visits to Tree House and Trillium. I bought a few super fresh IP...

Probably because the Grapefruit one tastes better. :P

Unlikely quality was the top reason for Constellation/Ballast Point to expand distribution of this particular beer to LCBO ...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

Sierra Nevada Trip in the Woods barrel aged Maple Scotch Ale 750ml 9.8%abv $19.45 Nineteen bucks, though :o ... think I'll pass on this one Oh it's worth every cent. If it were in 3 x 250 ml bottles would each be worth $6-7, definitely. The aromas and the substantial body of this beer make it worth...

Does anyone know when the Saison Dupont will hit the shelves? I have been travelling for a while and hope that I have not already missed it. Don't know when it will be on the shelf, but you haven't missed it yet. Still waiting.... Did I miss it? Maybe it will show up in September ... just in time f...

Re: Online Brewery sales

I've ordered from: Dominion City, Sawdust City, and Blood Brothers. All did a good job. I only have two issues ordering direct from breweries: 1. Delivery costs add ~buck-a-beer :wink: :wink: (or more if you don't get a full case) ... to already premium priced (i.e. expensive craft) beer. 2. Stale b...
