Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I'm pretty sure I saw a post by someone on Beer Advocate stating that they are being distributed in BC (or will be soon). Anyone else hear this? T I've got a trading partner in Calgary that says Jelly King is sitting on shelves out there. I think it's from private stores somehow ordering it/having ...

Re: Great Lakes

After the success of Sawdust Juicin, I don't see how they couldn't. A hazy GLB IPA would fly off the shelves.

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I've had a couple 3MTM (both versions) over the past several months, I think they have aged excellently. Around release I got a lot of diacetyl/butteryness that put me off, especially from the cherry version. It's completely gone now, delicious and decadent like they are meant to be.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

I don't know how fresh the cans of RR were back when they were good, but these days I can't seem to find a can less than 3 months old.

Re: Belfast Love

I did some work here installing the AV equipment and cables throughout the place. It is quite nice on the inside, and definitely not your typical Irish pub. 40 taps, as well as an extensive scotch bar and cocktail program with in-house unique cocktails. The head bartender really knows his stuff and ...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I had the Jelly King both on draft and in bottle and I must say that the bottle version is fantastic! Such a nice floral aroma that really didn't happen with the draft version. It sold out a lot faster than I was expecting. Really hope another batch is in the works right now. Who is planning on lin...

Re: Great Lakes

Just opened a Solstice that seems to have lost it's seal. There wasn't a noise when I opened it and the beer is pretty flat. Not all that bad since the beer is still delicious but still a bit disappointing. This is the second one I've opened and the first to have this issue. Anyone else experiencing...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get your hands on the Tree House and Trillium? An IP trade in Toronto from a very generous guy on Beer Advocate from New England. it was a big trade, at least for me (about 20 bottles and cans changing hands). My end was primarily Bellwoods (all the BA stuff...
