Re: Down to my last bottle of Boon Gueuze

I started reading without paying attention to the dates and was thinking, I don't remember the LCBO bringing in 96/97 Boon. Then I realized that's a 22 year old post- I was 16 at the time, so that's why I don't remember. Wasn't into lambics yet lol.

Re: Non-Alcoholic Beer

For any folk in Durham or passing through, Town has an non-alcoholic lager right now and it's really good. It's simple, pretty much drinks like an American light lager, but it's convincing and doesn't have any strange flavours. Hoping NA releases become a regular occurrence from them if they can pu...

Great scoop! I would buy the heck out of Two Hearted if it showed up around here.

Re: What's Your Favourite Ontario West Coast IPA?

Finally tried Peak to Peak this weekend, was impressed. Solid WC, by far one of the better new releases from Collective Arts in a while.

Re: Portugal

Alright, bringing this one back from the dead. I'll be visiting Portugal in June, heading from Porto to Lisbon then on to the Algarve. Possibly stopping in Coimbra and Evora in between. So- anyone visited Portugal more recently and have any recommendations? I'll also be sure to share my thoughts onc...

Re: Non-Alcoholic Beer

I'd have to agree Jazz Hands is still one of the best I've tried and has the most complex hop profile, as well as being the most convincing. I tried Collective Arts NA IPA the other night and that one was lemony. Woo boy, like lemon drops. I did like it overall, but as I drank it I started to get a...

Re: Non-Alcoholic Beer

Sorry for the multiple messages...forget how these message boards work, lol. On the NOLO fest, I thought Jazz Dance was mediocre. It was tasty, but had that lemony taste that a LOT of non-alcoholic IPAs have and starts to feel generic over time. I've tried probably about 300 NA beers, and have anot...

Cheers thanks. I was wondering if maybe US companies were shipping to Canada since technically it's not real alcohol, although package forwarding does sound useful in general.

Re: Breweries closing and/or restructuring and/or bought out

Thanks for the info everyone, think I've got it now. Not confusing at all haha. Just happy to know the Smoked Porter should stick around seeing as it's brewed at New Ontario.

Re: Blood Brothers’ Over The Tap - $7 to $12 for 4 oz pours

Between insane pricing and overcrowding, I'm generally put off of most festivals and special events these days. I'm much happier having a beer or two in a taproom, grabbing some cans to-go and drinking at home or a friend's place lol. I know there are still good ones out there, but this just sounds ...
