Bingo! I couldn't put my finger on what it is about Fat Tug that puts me off a bit. I got the same effect with Ransack. I definitely agree that this years maple porter canned is not as good as the previous years batches. I find it to be inconsistent, the first can I had tasted kinda boozy/tin taste 2 it, but then I had another a couple days later and did not get the boozy/tin taste at all but more maple.
