Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
SO... am I wrong in thinking that the St-Ambroise RIS used to be quite a bit more expensive than the $3.85 I just bought some at? And has it been a year or two since it was last here? Are they brewing way more or something? I'm not sure, but this price seems like a steal to me. I picked up the last...

"This year’s version of Kentucky Bastard will be released in early December in a limited run of wax-dipped 500 ml bottles that will be available at the Nickel Brook retail store and select bars and restaurants while supplies last." no lcbo this year? I like the smaller format.. "Bott...

I'm sure there will be. It's Toronto. They'll also likely bring you your slippers and the remotenickw wrote:I presume that there's still going to be a wider rollout of the Founders Breakfast Stout and Backwoods Bastard in Toronto stores?

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
Having just tried this KBS I feel I need to comment on the subject of KBS vs et all Ontario/Canada/World . . . Take it for what it is, a well aged beer that hides its 11.9% extremely well. Its integerated and ready to drink, no aging required and IMHO aging it might be a bad idea but that jury is s...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
I don't think it's a matter of feeling threatened. I think this has much more to do with the inferiority complex some have toward Ontario/Canadian products. We make some fantastic beers here, but because they're from Ontario and/or are common, we have a tendency to think they're not on par with our...

I think Oxbow does some tasty beers, but agree they're overpriced a bit. Was there last June in Portland and thought it was pricey there.
