Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

There's hommage sitting in a few stores still - https://www.lcbo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/PhysicalStoreInventoryView?langId=-1&storeId=10203&catalogId=10051&productId=159531 It was web only. That likely shows the stores to which web orders were shipped. It sold out after 1 full wee...

This ended up being a huge fiasco. The LCBO only listed 30 of the 600 (!!) bottles we brought in.
It took 2 months to resolve.

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

We have single bottles of BFM 225 saison with quince online.

https://www.lcbo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... ale-546852

This is a world-class saison. Price is higher, unfortunately, due to high shipping costs.

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

Anyone try to do an order today, keeps telling me items are no longer available (won't say which) and to remove from cart, but all show stock. Can not get an order through :( We've sent a message to the LCBO, since there isn't an inventory tracker that had been previously on items listed. That said...

The importer (Gleemer, who posts here from time to time) : https://mobile.twitter.com/gleemerimports/status/1088458582356459521 He also gets this stuff in seemingly on the regular, if you're up to get a case. Follow him on Twitter or Facebook or whatever and you'll get your hands on it eventually. ...

Re: Bar Hop 2 (Peter St)

While i was unable to attend the sneak peak on Thursday night, I am very much looking forward to BH3 opening.
Between BH3 and the Only, you're going to have a solid tap and bottle list within a 5 minute walk of one another.
I can also tell you that the bottle list will make these bars a destination :)

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

FWIW, I have a business trip in March to Frankfurt and was thinking of doing a side trip to St. Sixtus to pick up beer, anyone want to split Westy's? Don't know if I'll be shipping it back, as I can only carry a case by myself, if I get two one will definitely get shipped. Just to clarify for you: ...

Re: The St Sixtus & why they love us and want us to not have good things

4-5 years' age = Westy 12. It is excellent at year 4, but, in the past few years, the batches oxidize really quickly and can be unpredictable. Still not worth $15+/bottle for it. Westy 12 has a funny reputation for being uneven - lots of acceptable batches, a few truly outstanding and a few that do...
