Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread
Let me guess was the LCBO on the Mountain? If it was I can guess which store! TBS wasn't asking questions Monday but that probably changed, Walmart was. Main St. Turn-around. this was on Tuesday. Really, I was going to say Upper James and Fennel. I was there a week or so ago, walked in no line to g...

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread
LCBO is screening people with questions before they enter. do you have sniffles? do you have diarrhea? sick to your stomach? Really going to back the lines up now, if you haven't bought already good luck! Did you mean a lineup to get in, or to check out? Haven't seen a line-up to get in since the s...

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread
I was in a LCBO store today which I don't usually go into and haven't been in since this whole Covid-19 stuff started. I felt quite safe with the whole distancing thing but the way the store was laid out and roped off I pretty well needed my GPS to get through the store. If you weren't paying atten...

Omnipollo "Mimmi" Mimosa Sour (Fruited Sour Ale) This is one of those ones that's really hard to consider a beer. Much more like a fruit juice. I know right, it taste like a shandy. the other beer release Aura I enjoyed more. I picked up Rodenbach Caractere Rouge and IPA No. 15 by Collect...

Sawdust City Viva La Stout
I haven't managed to keep a vintage ale longer than a year in a while. I did a three year vertical way back when and didn't find much benefit to the aging, so there isn't much incentive for me. I hope this year's is better than Jase's experience. It's such a great style and not one we get that ofte...

Re: What're you drinking right now?
Chocolate Manifesto and Fullers Vintage Ale (2020) are not drinking well. Chocolate Manifesto still taste like Nesquik but it's thinner and less chocolatey than I remember. the roasted malt in Fullers this year makes the whole beer taste like a can of FAXE, Bavaria 8.6 or another Euro Strong Lager, ...
