Is anybody enjoying a great Hefeweizen right now, and who is selling it? Godspeed put their excellent Shirinami on hiatus this summer, I must have had over 50 of those last year. I love good proper Weissbier. But I hope to see the GS Kölsch! Had a really nice hefeweiss from common good brewing. Can...
All the Czech beers from Godspeed, Světlý Ležák 12° and 10°, Tmavý Ležák 12º are rock solid as previously mentioned. ESB and Munich dunkle are current personal favorites. Avling Foxtail Zwickelbier and pilsner are both really nice. Common Good Sociable pilsner is one one my favorites available at th...
Just got back from Asheville. I've got a little bit of surplus I'd be down to trade for something equally interesting. All less than a month old. Some less then 2 weeks from packaging. All tall cans except the wicked week and the surf wax which are 355ml 1x Burial - surf wax 355ml 1x Burial+Other Ha...
Blood brothers Shumei ipa. It was a horrible tannic astringent mess. Everything I've tried from them has been mediocre to downright awful. They really need to get their act together.

This is pretty uninspiring especially after just coming back from a trip out west and enjoying everything BC and Alberta have to offer. I've yet to be impressed with any of the beers they've been bringing in from Denmark. I wish they'd stop take a break from those breweries.
Maybe almost right. http://www.theenterprisebulletin.com/2011/07/05/toronto-based-brewer-buys-thornbury-cidery It seems the operating group Beer Barons controls both brands. I was at Sauce on the Danforth and was told that Thornbury was going to be the branding going forward. Both companies are own...
Not sure if there are any metal fans on here but I found this pretty amusing. I'd try it. At least they went with an interesting style and not a generic euro style lager.
