Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

I'll try the fuck out of those. Sounds fun. And I'm also starting to board the train of 'all the fruit and lactose fuck off'. But not quite. I still enjoy the good stuff of that ilk and likely always will. Just get's a bit overwhelming sometimes. I am by no means a prude, but your consistent use of...

Re: Dominion City

Do they have any beers in the LCBO? Not trying to be dickish, but why don't you just go to the LCBO website and check. I just did. They have no listings. I did do that. But from my experience using the LCBO app, I've seen beers not exist on there, only for them to be sitting on a shelf in a store. ...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Sawdust City Fruits of Eden There is what I will describe as a perfume like flavour in this. It reminds me of when I first had Mill St. Tankhouse Ale around 2007, a beer that I swear has been changed since then. Market Kodiak A 9% abv IIPA that I've had for awhile. Very good, but no mistaking it is ...

St. Mary Axe India Pagan Ale

Very good. I've said before that I prefer the more bitter interpretations to the fruity and citrus ones, and this one hit the spot when I got home today.

Nice catch. I really enjoy this beer.

I wanted to try it last year, but missed out. Glad to see it's back....with a recommendation to boot. :)

Re: LCBO Autumn, Halloween and Ontario Craft Beers 2018 Release

I don't mind pumpkin beers. Having a couple a year around October is fine. Just like some of the winter beers in December and January. My favourite though is Southern Tier Pumking. I'm going to try to brew a clone this year though with less ABV. Completely agree with liking a little pumpkin b...

Available at the brewery is:

Hot Pink Brut IPA brewed with Hallertau Blanc and Vic Secret Hops.

I bought some Saturday, but haven't tried it yet.

Re: Collective Arts

I'm pretty meh on No. 6 as well. I'd rather not see any fruit, sour, lactose etc. type beers in this series but hey, I'm not the brewer. I want beers that are solidly in the "trad" IPA category (i.e. hoppy). Loved no. 5. If I had my druthers I'd love to see them do a triple IPA for the wi...

Re: Grand River Brewing

A quick scan of their portfolio shows a lineup consisting of an English IPA and two lagers. Yup, cutting edge. I'm not calling them cutting edge (I found that humorous too), but I think you are selling them short. They have five listings in TBS. True North Copper Alt Bier True North Cream Ale True ...
