I wouldn't say Sudbury is doing just fine. There's always room for growth and improvent (that goes for any business). And some of those improvements can be very manageable and go a long way. For instance, the Buddha has a good bottle selection as you mentioned but it would be great to have some pro...

Yep, even I'm happy that there is another place to go for a good beer... and I go there for breakfast as well... good omelettes. And yes, we all have to drive south to pick up our beers. I'd love it if some of the craft brewers would start doing some special casks for Hardrock 42 and for the Buddha....

Maybe nobody gives a crap about us craft beer consumers in the big business picture, and maybe this is slow to change. But it might be a saving grace that the beer scene is much better than it was only five years ago, and if we can take advantage of the big LCBO structure to maintain this upward tr...

[quote] privately owned stores where the owner of the store is the last decision maker on what he stocks is what the "privatization lobby" supports. [quote] Dare to dream. Stores where the manager could have last word on the stock would be amazing. I just want 10 cases of Red Racer to get ...

I think that the overall 'privatization' lobby should take a step back. If the LCBO is privatized... it won't just make room for a whole bunch of Premier or Consumers stores... the gov't we have now will sell LCBO to the highest bidder and try to tell everyone that they made a load of money for Onta...

Anyone know if this is going to be a long wait? Tell me they haven't been discontinued! These two have been such a regular seller for the last 4 years.

Sudbury

Hell if I like a beer and I'm willing to pay for it I'll order as many cases as I damn well please. It's not like they would have ordered any in Sudbury anyways lol. Careful with the assumptions about Sudbury. We (Laughing Buddha) have not had any problem selling any of the last bunch of seasonal r...

Don't let that fool you. This beer came out on shelves today in London, and by noon, 84 bottles were cleared out of the Masonville location. The CSR said it was one order. Likely an asshole hoarder. I'll see your "84 bottle ST hoarder" and raise you " one 48 bottle Rogue order"....

I like to give bottles as presents at holidays... I gave out some Lump Of Coal Holiday Stout this past Christmas... to couples I like to give a pair of bottles... one Raging Bitch IPA and one Arrogant Bastard Ale. Of course you have to buy those in the US... It's tongue and cheek fun of beer lovers....

I've emailed a couple times and phoned as well, to no answer. Thank-you for posting the contact numbers... I will keep trying, since I still want to carry the beers that you distribute and will still drive to Toronto to pick them up.

After weeks of trying to get some of these up to Sudbury... finally got 6 cases of the Curmudgeon... there are stories of more cases of the imports in bond but I think that I'm just hoping to have better luck with the Summer releases. C'mon LCBO... there's a little restaurant in Sudbury trying to st...
