Some answers: 1. They may have tested it anyway althought they shouldn't have needed to - but they will have credited for the used bottles. So the one case would only cost 22/24 of the value, etc. It could also be breakage (in which case also they would credit accordingly). 2. The cutoff for the $13...

re: english (and applies, generally, to everything) beers ... no it's not that -- it's just that in view of the fact the LCBO (stores) is the only RETAIL avenue for us merchants (for anyone) for imported alcohol beverages in Ontario - unless a product is ordered by the LCBO, it is extremely ineffici...

La Brasserie carries some very notable - and good - Belgian beers. You should try them some day. A lot of them are also available at the Esplanade Bier Market if you'd rather go there.
