Ive always enjoyed McEwans, its a perfect winter warmer and the price point is reasonable. Now if we could get Oscar Blues Old Chub then we'd be laughin. Come to think of it I havent picked up a sixer of McEwans in awhile so thanks for reminding me with this review!

I think St. Pete IPA tastes alright, the 'medicinal' sharp hops were not an issue for me & I could have enjoyed another. i agree with belgian, ive had much worse american and english style IPA then the St Peter's. i will say that the IPA doesnt hold a candle to the Ruby Red but its still an enj...

We'll keep pitching Ruby Red but we have struck out so far. Next opportunity perhaps we can get a petition going which I can submit to the LCBO with your comments. We've pitched it as a General List item and as a seasonal with no success. some questions for esprit, how much does the LCBO care about...

New Ontario Brews (what would you like to see?)

Here's what Id love to see happen within the OCB: IPA - with the Scotch Irish in rappid decline we need a solid, bottled IPA. Durham makes some good ones but Id love to see a really good bottled IPA and if I could pick a brewer to make a good one Id pick Grand River Imperial Stout - with the Welling...

I was underwhelmed with the Rogue H N but it's important to try beers a few times (and with a sharp palate!) The Konings is good. My first-ever bottles (Premier) were probably older, and had a cidery appearance that was a bit globby, but these tasted utterly fantastic. So these beers probably gain ...
