I'm very impressed with the amount of discussion and traffic this thread has generated. Thanks for the kind words about our beers. My main point is that our GTA market consumes about 7 million bottles of beer a day (or the equivalent, stat from the Toronto Sun a few years ago). That's a lot of beer....

The official release note:

Hi Everyone We've bottled and kegged up Our Nutcracker Porter. Some kegs are oozing there way into pubs (Volo & Dr. Generosity) are stocked. This years edition is unfiltered, which seems to put a bit more body and permit the cinnamon to have more presence (instead of being lost in the filter). A...

Dance Rituals

While the special dances are very important, safety is an important factor. That's why the naked dancing in a brewery must be done using CSA approved rubber boots. PS we are also saving up for a disco ball, as all really cool breweries have one or two. cheers ken PPS not really sure about the chicke...

I'm really pissed that we don't get any support by the local beer drinking community. It seems so easy just to sit on your ass and criticize all the work it took to bring about something which is supposed to introduce more people to the beer we brew locally. It took a huge amount of effort, time and...

Lemon Pepper Pale Ale (Cask Version)

A little truth to our concoction it seems, would destroy the "romantic notion" that many people have about brewing different things. Perhaps i should never again reveal my sources and just shroud the whole unique process in mystery and smoke & Mirrors. (now all the other breweries will...

Rebuttal

Curse you Perry for raising the bar. Very tasty downtown brown. Just wait, we've got our best minds working on vegetable beers. Think of quaffing a turnip & broccoli cask lager on a hot patio day. thinking of calling it "V9" (just to be extra mean we'll dump some scotch bonnets peppers...

That guy sounds like a whiny wanker.

(actually it was a lot of fun and went really well after Cass's dog stopped barking at me, critical even before the interview)

I look forward to hearing more of these.
Guess i'll have to upgrade my 286.

Cheers
Ken

Somethin I forgot

Adrian did come up with a name for our cask version of Double Chocolate Cherry Stout: "Cherry Bomb" I think it works as there is more cherry in the cask version and it kind of sync's up with the Hop Bomb name for our pale ale version. I've delivered casks to C'est What, Victory and Volo to...

Double Chocolate Cherry Stout Cask Version

HI Again Everybody Adrian has brewed up a really good batch (full size) of our infamous Double Chocolate Cherry Stout. I think the last time this hit the street was in April of 2005. This year we seem to be on time and will have a whole bunch of stout. I think it will last until the summer saison co...
