I've already filled out a quotation req for Hercules 2 weeks ago. If it turns out to be a agregate order, I'm going to pay for my 6 cases when I pick em up at Queensquay.

I've already told them I'm interested in 6 cases so in case LCBO contacts them for a quotation they know it's not only for a case.

I'm not sure what exactly is going on with these LCBO buyers. I had a long discussion with one of them about a month ago regarding private ordering from USA. He actually placed an Bigfoot order for me (hasn't arrived yet but based on my last year experience I’m optimistic). It looks like SN is a hap...

Peter I don't think you're fair in your statement. Last week I was visiting friends south of the border and I returned with two cases of hop wallop. A month ago I bought 1 case of 90min and 1 case of ruination. So it's not the fact that we don't support the sales of US micros but rather LCBO doesn't...

This was my favorite beer on tap when I was in down in Boston. It was always between this and 90min. If i'm not mistaken it's also on Volo's beer list.

I thought the Sixtus name was associated with Westvleteren, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway when I was in Brugge I had the Sixtus 12 (according to the restaurant's menu) and then the St. Bernardus 12 and they seemed quite different.

I always wondered how can this one be a maibock. Then I looked up the definition again and this is what they say: German-Style Heller Bock/Maibock The German word helle means light colored, and as such, a heller Bock is light straw to deep golden in color. Maibocks are also light-colored bocks. The ...

BTW. Has anyone checked out Consumer's Beverage in Amherst for micros? It's not far from premiere gourmet and apparently much cheaper.

It's times like these when I regret Growlers. Having recently returned from a trip to Europe, and having spent a few weeks in Germany , I can say we are really deprived of good German beer here in Toronto. I understand the limited LCBO selection is due to the way they decided to run their bussiness ...
