What is the benefit of leaving my beer in the primary if it's done fermenting? The benefit is that you wont pick up any contaminants when transfering to another fermentor. Picked up one of each yesterday while in toronto. right now I am enjoying the black ipa. nice beer, but there is definetly a metallic note in my bottle. hopefuly it is just this one. I have a few more to go through.

I might try and age half of this batch on oak with some bourbon. today while brewing i had a few homebrew and 2 bottles of sierra nevada ruthless rye pale ale. Very nice beer. Good amount of rye flavour very dry and spicy.

drinking an ipa right now. 7.5% abv and 70IBUS. Challeneger for bitter up to 30 min than roatating columbus and amarillo. dry hopped with 2 oz amarillo. 2 bombers and i am feeling fine on this cold winters day.

cool looking bottle. sort of reminds me of a mickeys bottle with a longer neck. My aunt recently gifted me some of my uncles old homebrew bottles. Got 2 cases of the og stubby with the super short neck. Problem is i use a wing capper and need to invest in a new one to use these bottles.
