Grand River Galt Knife Lager, Town Hall Lager, and Pils, would be perfect for you I would think and if you could make it to the brewery to buy some!

Thanks for the heads up Len, I picked up some at St Clair and Keele today. Friendly folks there went and found it in a refrigerated area in their stock room. Looking forward to trying it later this week.

Thanks for the feedback Len. I sounds like they are doing well and I caught them on a bad day. I am glad to hear they ditched the plastic bottles as well.

I tried their "light" at the KW beer fest and I got a very weird flavour in the finish that could be interpreted as smokey. Whatever it was it was not pleasant and likely not intentional. After having a good experience with this brewery initially with a fresh growler of their Blonde which ...

I'll miss the Bow too, as it was a micro introduction destination for me as well. But as said earlier, something needed to be done, it was dreadful at the end. Derek - good advice! I really really really try not to judge a place by its name, especially one that has not opened yet, but I hope this pu...

I finally tried Aphrodisiaque on tap in Montreal recently and it met if not exceeded my rather lofty expectations. I have a bunch of bottles at home and while not quite up to the same standards, I think they are excellent - leagues ahead of Young's (a beer I quite like). My wife's favourite beer eve...

Hey I love Granite, I am just trying to think of "new" solid locations and Mill St fits the bill (almost every tap would be a new beer to these folks). How long has Granite been around? Maybe it is new too! Agreed on Mill St's food - but sit at the bar and enjoy the beer and you'll be fine...

If you are talking about changes in the last 15 years, then Volo, Beer Bistro, Mill St., and even Victory are must stops. I'd suggest Ceili Cottage for a night cap, as I think it is a very unique bar in T.O (and it has good beer).

Yep, in bottles anyway. I imagine it is in rotation at the usual premium beer destinations in T.O.

Southern Tier Choklat. Definitely a highlight of this year, worth seeking. I wonder if Rogue fans feel this one's actually better? To answer another poster's question if I may as to where he got it, likely Buffalo, it is available there. It is a different beer Belgian, for sure! Much more intense d...

I actually appreciate when normal Peter decides to share his insight with us about how this whole thing works and his experiences in dealing with the LCBO. He's provided a lot of great insight on this board over the years, as well as great products. What I cannot stand is when this other, um, stupid...
