I had a great time yesterday, but I am not sure if I will go back. The lines for everything were so long, that it doesn't really make sense. I could have sat at a patio somewhere with the same people and had as much fun. Last year I was able to get to all of the brewery booths, and sample the beer t...

Downtown Kitchener Ribfest and Craft Beer Show

Is anyone planning to go tomorrow? This is the one time of the year my friends don't roll their eyes at my talk of beer. I have managed to get the group larger this year than last, hope to be able to continue that. I decided to help advertise GRB, and bought a hat. So, if you see a 6'5" guy wit...

I still find it odd that all communications have come from a foxx.ca email address, while the Steelback site has a contact address of info@steelbackbrewery.com. I sent them an email just after the initial posting here by Frank, and didn't receive a reply. Has anyone here, other than Frank, talked to...

I make it a point to go to both Pub Italia and the Manx when in Ottawa.

Over the last 5 years, we have had 2 beer weekends per year there.

Great selection at both, decent food at both, and Pub Italia is great for soccer games.

It would be a real shame if the Brick was to leave Waterloo. I can remember going to the brewery on Sundays, when the Beer Store was closed to get beer. That is actually what started me on my path to drinking good beer.

I drink Red Cap when my intent is to just bbq drink with the boys.

Park on the north side, the south lot is too small.

I'll be back there again on Friday afternoon, looking forward to it with the heat we have been having.

I just picked up a growler each of Galt Knife Old Style, and Plowman's Ale. I was told that the next step was 500mL brown bottles, but wasn't told when. I don't think there is much chance of this being at the LCBO until there is a bottle smaller than 1.9L. Nice facility, though I won't know what the...

I was told some time ago now that the brewery would be open on the 22nd, but I would like to go to the tasting room Saturday if you are open.

My neighbourhood is having a large garage sale, so I want to be somewhere else. I won't have to see what my wife buys that way.
