If the accuracy is =/- 9 points then I guess it makes all results null and void...those scores are all awefully close from top to bottom!
Sorry I missed it...!

This looks like a nice outing. If I were to pick one of the forthcoming events, it would be hard to choose! My palette is picky in terms of food...so sometimes I balk at such events, but this one looks tasty.

Anyone ever had the Koningshoeven Trappist Bock (overseas, elsewhere?)

Cannondale... Not much right now unfortunately. Only Blanche de Chambly. My buddy got the last glass of Maudite on Wed....the keg ended 1/2 way through my pour. I was told before they were bringing in Éphémère next, once the Maudite was done, but apparently not. The replacement coming in is M...

After only 1 bottle I have to say it hasn't lived up to expectations yet. I really enjoyed the Rogue Choc Stout and have loved he Black Oak Souble Choc Cherry. The bottle I had of this wasn't 'silky smooth' as some might say. Chocolately yes, but it had a bit more bitterness than expected. Bitternes...

Ahhh...sorry to hear about catching a fever. I'm very new to beer cuisine so I'm always curious about the pairings / suggestions I see at Beer Bistro, Bier Markt, etc. Mussels are the only ber cooked items I've cooked...about as simple as it gets! Sometimes I just stare at the BB website "pair ...

Obviously late on this one...what theme did you end up going with? I've been contemplaing a mini 'ribfest' type beer / food tasting this summer. Apparently you can get kangaroo ribs from some places at St lawrence Market (?? anyone know ??) So was thinking of cooking up a few different animal ribs (...

I discovered a botle of this in my basement (I knew I had bought one....just got forgotten about for a couple months!) Not really sure why I bought it, as 1) I don't generally enjoy fruit flavoured beers 2) I don't like blackcurrants at all I was still skeptical when the head was coloured pink! But ...

Ahhh, I thought it was Raison D'Extra you mentioned, but it is Raison D'Etre. A bit pricey, but never having been to a special beer dinner at BB yet, I am very tempted. I notice their website still lists the 'winter' dinner menu...anyone know if it's actually been updated for 'spring'? I'll be headi...

The 'totally fun and somewhat random' disxlaimer must've been for bot hthe shows and the beer descriptions. You see these type of lists more often talkign about celebrities and pop-culture. Online article fodder is at an all-time high these days and Sympatico is brimming with it. I wonder now......w...

Agreed as well. The Rogue is my fave from this batch. Had to go pick up an extra 3 tonight because they're so good.
:D
It's nice to have soem Westmalle dubbles and tripels in the house now too, never seemed right always only having one OR the other around.

Enjoying a Brutal Bitter now....delicious!
I enjoyed the Dead Guy Ale when it was in at Xmas 2006, but prefer this to it. Now the Chocolate Stout rocks of course. Haven't had a Rogue I didn't enjoy yet.
If you consider this beer goes for $15-20 at any bars in TO, the $5.95 is quite 'drinkable'.

I agree the Rochefort glass is great. I got mine from a little town in Belgium. My interest in glassware is that it is my one itme I seek out as souvenir while travelling. Most recently I added a 'Pilsener' mug from Quito, Ecuador. It is always more fun asking to buy / trying to find glasses in such...

Thanks guys. Next time I'm out in TO I'll ask some of the good spots about it. On the noe of just buying glasses, I've done that a number of times. Almost always places will sell a glass, although a couple times I've been told no as their stock was limited. Beer Bistro has been the friendliest place...
