Ya,
Tasted fresk (the spitfire that is), pretty tasty stuff, but nothing overly special to me.

Tried my Maple Bock too, along with the Maple Bush from Heritage. I don't plan to try either one again though.

Damn. That's too bad. I was really looking forward to another order. There is plenty of beer outthere...and yet so much of it won't deal with the LCBO...how annoying.

Hey Belgian, I grabbed one of those Heritage Maple Bush bottles as well, in Mississauga. Has anyone tried it yet? I also grabbed the Trafalgar, just to see what the stink is. It got me thinking...maybe I should try a bunch of "maple" tinged beers. Nickelbrook porter isn't in bottles yet, a...

When I grabbed some bottles of these 2 years back they had no labels....well, they were just plain white labels now that I think of it.

Exciting news. I really enjoyed this Stout. It is a bit light as people have mentioned. I kept waiting / expecting to be hit with something more taste-wise, but after a number of sips, I quite enjoyed it. Will look forward to more of it. I've bought two of these, but as people have said the price is...

I thoroughly enjoyed my Great Divide order from last time and would welcome the chance to order up some Hercules, which I didn't grab last time.

True...the train ride home is $87 if you get the cheapest rate. My problem is working late Friday, the train isn't an option to "get there".
:D
But I'm planning to take the train back. Best of both worlds.....!

Montreal FEST - $11 Westjet tickets from Toronto TODAY only

Today only at Westjet. I booked a Toronto - Montreal flight for $11, came to $56 after taxes. Leaving Friday night, June 1. (You could book earlier in the week if you can take the time off to avoid crowds.) Haven't been to Montreal fest before....but this gave me a reason to go. Just passing the wor...

Any word on the bottled version?

Can anyone say how it compared to the last batch from a couple years back? Those were very tasty, but I thought the "cherry" aspect was a little too subtle. It was still a great brew though!

Cheers.

Ha, ya...my B'day was the last time I made it to BB too. Perfect spot it is for that. I've never been dissapointed with food or drink there...so I guess even if nothing has changed meal-wise it'll be great.

Will be visiting BB again in the next week. I haven't received their newsletter for many months, and their website still lists the "fall" menu. Does anyone know if I should I expect anything different or new than what is on their website? (for food....they always have plenty of beers for m...

Very interesting. I had 6 over the holidays but grabbed them in early december...same old bottles...and they were quite spicy and satisfying. Of course whenever I pick this stuff up, people at TBS look at me funny...I think I'm the only one that buys it, so it could have been an older batch. Will ha...

Canadian Tire Money for Beer

I found this article interesting for a couple reasons. First because it eludes to competition in the liquor industry in Alberta and businesses having to come up with ideas to market themselves, but secondly because I am sure we've all got a bunch of Canadian Tire money floating around, waiting to be...
