Re: 2020 Holiday Gift Packs at the LCBO

Fuller's Vintage Ale 2020 reads For the Vintage Ale 2020, we've stayed true to our roots - sourcing all our ingredients here in the UK. The story starts with DRC®, a Double Roasted Crystal malt from East Anglia that promises malty sweetness rich in caramel and raisin. Then there's the Herefordshire...

I thought 13(especially) and 14 were some of the best of the series......and if 15 is an exact remake of 5, will be great also.

Definitely one of Royal city’s better offerings. I look forward to it every year.

Re: Some OG Bellwoods

Hi all, No idea if there is any appetite for the following beers that I've just found in the midst of a recent move: Bellwoods Grognard, No Rest For The Wicked (x2), first run of Lambda, first run of Grandma's Boy, first run of Jelly King (x3) and first run of Warp & Weft. Lemme know if any of ...

Re: Great Lakes

I guess Great Lakes Brewery is not expecting keg sales to come back anytime soon. As I write this this have 19 types of beer in the online shop. The Meet the Porter Porter that I just finished was stellar. I bag on them for their thousands of variations of NE IPAs but if they give me a good porter ...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Drinking this years version of Fracture and it’s absolutely delicious. I think it’s tasting a little bit different this time around...hop profile seems changed a bit, but that could just be me. Also, as a bonus I’m pretty sure it’s cheaper than it has been the past couple years. :)

Re: Muskoka Brewery

I also try the Harvest Ale every year just to check. I've had a couple this year, it's.... not bad. Not much else to say, at least one of the times I was drinking it out of a can while walking so I can't get to fine with my assessment. So I've done the same thing for the past few years and this yea...

Elora just released a new Wet Hop pale ale yesterday.
Grabbed a couple cans, but haven’t tried it yet.

Re: Wellington

I put in an order with Wellington this week. They had the most stuff I wanted to try of the local Guelph Brewers and this thread was on my mind. So far I've tried their Helles (good, just what you'd expect) and the kviek IPA collab they did with Cameron's (also good, real peach/mango vibe) and I'm ...

Re: Red Circle Brewing & Coffee

Coffee is pretty good, but pricey. I’ve had maybe half a dozen beers of theirs. Most have been at least decent, a couple a bit better than that. I wouldn’t go out of your way for them. Sparrow(out of Cambridge) has equally as good coffee, if not better. And better beer for sure. Closer to Guelph tha...

CIGAR CITY MARGARITA GOSE LCBO 15604 | 4x355 mL can SEASONAL/LIMITED QUANTITIES Easy going, should probably be served very cold, like many trendy examples is very tart and lemony and a bit salty, and not so much funk or complexity or interest. As with Ciders, it's hard to find a good Gose with iden...

Re: Wellington

Welly has picked up their game with a young and motivated team. Regaining their Mojo of 30 years back They’ve certainly moved more with the times, these past 2-3 years than ever before. The one-offs are for the most part quite good....which wasn’t always the case in the past. Their hoppy beers have...

Re: 2020 Autumn Ontario Craft Beers, Imports & Pumpkin Beers at the LCBO

I enjoyed the Welly Rising Tide Collaboration Mix Pack and would recommend picking it up 8) canned Aug 07th, 2020. I’ve only drank the Great Lakes and Cameron collabs so far. But both have been excellent. So good in fact, that I grabbed a “crowler” of the Cameron’s one at the Welly walk-up window a...
