Block 3 King Street Saison

Picked up a 6 pack today @ the brewery, along with a Frankenstout. Bottled today, according to the bottle, can't beat that for freshness. 4.7%,i like this, considering the trend for Saisons now tends to be up in the 7-8% range. 4$ per bottle Very decent beer. Appearance is a typical Saison look, lots...

I like the looks of this. The only one i've tried is the Tree DIPA. The pineapple hefe sounds interesting. The price point on these seem pretty good also.

Leeds or Sheffield(nothern England)-great local beers, and close enough by train to London,Edinbugh etc that they could be done in a day. Brussels or anywhere else in Belgium Munich San Diego and area Sydney Australia-I really know nothing about the beer scene here, but I'm sure that there is one, a...

I had a beer with Charles a few years ago in the Wooly in Guelph. A mutual friend that used to work at Wellington was talking to him @ the bar, and he piped up when I ordered a half of Wellington best bitter. Very interesting guy. I seem to remember him saying that he helped start up Wellington brew...

I want to love Beaus, i really do, but the only thing they seem to do consistantly is dissapoint me. I love the idea and the passion they seem to have, but their product(s) just don't do it for me. I love the fact that they are always trying something different, and i understand that you can't hit a...

Thanks guys. I agree the Bellwoods, however the only two i have lying around are the Motley Cru and No sleep till Brooklyn. Don't really want to part with those, and i doubt I'll make it down to the brewery before i leave. The tank-ten series is a great idea, make sure to grab one of the Harry Porte...

Thoughts on local beers to take overseas for trade.

Hey guys, long time reader; just recently joined. I'm heading over to Scotland in a few weeks to the (very small)town where i grew up(until i was 10). I've just discovered that a nano-brewery has opened there, and got in contact with them saying i was looking forward to trying all of their stuff. I ...
