That was the only Beau's beer that I was ever 'Meh' about. Glad to hear it's hoppier this year. I will always try it regardless.

"Tier"-worthy that one. Reminds me I have one Anchor Liberty left in the fridge and I will definitely shed a few when I have that one.

Right now having a Shipyard IPA.

I hope he was just being polite. The system really needs to be torn up.

I stopped by the brewery to pick up a growler of 1855. It's quite nice, pretty light but has a nice taste. I will definitely buy more of this and would like to try the cask conditioned version at the Cheshire Cat. Edit: I don't usually use the term 'sessionable' but after polishing off a good chunk ...

They are definitely in my personal top three of Ontario breweries (that I've had). I love the Curmudgeon and like the Galt well enough. I wish they had better availability in Ottawa.

That's good to hear. Availability of cask ales has been poor in Ottawa (it seemed to be better back in the 90's), looking forward to trying this one.

It's arrived in Ottawa and I'm very impressed. I wish we could have steady year-round supply of both this one and Beau's Beaver River. Two great beers I'm enjoying at the moment.

I was too late to the party to pick up any of the Triple, but I'm really enjoying the Bombay Pale Ale. The Julebryg I enjoyed but found it not as full bodied as I expected. I noticed at the LCBO there are two different labels for the Stout, one advertising the espresso and one without. I picked up t...

Cracked open the first of my Panils...and wow....great! Definitely reminds me of Rodenbach and the good old days when it used to be available regularly at the SAQ. It's pricey but I hope we see this one again.

I'd buy that.

All are outside my typical purchasing habits, so that's incentive enough to give it a go (I think I've only had the Wellington and Flying Monkey out of the six).

I agree with this...one of my favourites for that wonderful brief time it was available. I hope it comes back.

Also a big fan of the Creemore Kellierbier, and the Mill Street Roggenbier.
