I enjoyed that one when I visited their brewery recently but man was the hop aroma / taste dank, like drinking a beer made with pot.

Re: Burdock Brewing

FYI Burdock has prices and stock levels for every beer in their bottle shop. Surprised no one has praised them for that yet considering how much people want brewery websites to list bottles... http://burdockto.com/bottleshop/ That's amazing. I wish more breweries just told me how much their beers w...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

Skeleton Key is being released on Feb 12th, 1800 bottles, 4 per person, $12 each.

Looks like Bounty Hunter is also making a comeback later this month (date unknown) for $8/bottle, no limits per person. I'm really excited about this one actually, I love it.

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

Wait, wat? $35 bottles? Ouch. Maybe not for a JK standard.... but I appreciate the fact that someone is getting it into the country. That deserves a pat on the back. Consider going on Sunday, they do half price on select large bottles and I know they've done it for some Jester King bottles before. ...

Yep, different strokes for different folks. I've always gotten pretty good service there and the location is great for me but really just because I live nearby.

I'll have to try the Koru again. Last year I was able to order a bottle at The Rhino and it wasn't the best. Then again, it was bottled about 2.5 years prior...

$7.25 each, and I believe there were something like 2400 bottles? I can't remember where I saw that though so take it with a grain of salt.

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I haven't been to Volo in a long time (because they suck) so I can't say if they've carried Bellwoods lately. At risk of derailing the thread a bit, care to explain why they suck? Just curious as I quite like the place for the most part. And I'm not sure about on draft (they do seem to have some fr...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

Yeah the Trillium folks also posted a photo of their Ratebeer badge so it's probably for that. I've never even heard of Bellwoods but it seems to be the most popular thread on the Bar towel. I'm rarely in Toronto these days. Do they have anything at the LCBO/TBS or bars outside of TO? No LCBO / TBS ...

Bellwoods / Trillium Brewing teasing us with this tweet showing 2016 Skeleton Key and what appears to be Barn Owl #3. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CaAxaIcUkAAwF3Q.jpg:large I say Barn Owl #3 because the label colour is a bit lighter than the red of Barn Owl 1 (more like a peach colour, which makes se...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Seems like the lcbo moved really fast with this ipa.. what is the date on the bottles? So we have 2 lagunitas IPA's at the lcbo (maximus from the spring release - and the regular IPA which I figure is a regular listing), not too shabby I saw some at the LCBO at Dundas/Dovercourt last night, I looke...
