Unfortunately we make a lot of good IPAs that are only available on tap, such as Hop Head and Church Key's West Coast. Church-Key's West Coast is available in bottles, you just have to go to the brewery to get them. Well worth the trip, in my opinion, and if you take the back roads, it's a breathta...

Many of Ontarios talented brewers opt to use the facilities of other breweries. (Denison's, Perry Mason etc.) There are any number of reasons the beer may have changed, or maybe your tastes have as well. Anyways, point being if Doug, Michael Hancock, or Perry Mason comes out with a new brew, I care...

St. Andre was an independent - and very tasty - brew when it first came out. Cool makes it now, and I have to say it's merely competent. I have to agree. I recall loving St. Andre (never understood why all the beers are listed as "Ste." Andre on RB) 5 or 6 years ago, but lately, while sti...

I haven't had this one in any incarnation, but I believe it used to be brewed by Northern (before the banckruptcy)? Ratebeer currently lists it as being brewed by Cool, so the brewery switch may have had something to do with quality change....?

That review sounds like it's ripped straight from the pages of "Chill", that thinly-veiled advertising rag they TRY to give away for free at the BS....so sad. Where does this guy get off (the short bus)?

Does anybody know if Neustadt still sells bottles? Or is it just strictly cans now? The 'BO has delisted bottles of the Scottish Ale, but the lager and 10W30 seem to still be available in that format - I regularly see new stock of 6-packs of 10W30 show up at my local (Brock St.) LCBO, despite the f...

Looks like it was a higher abv/dry-hopped version of their auburn ale.

Is True North Magnotta? Yes. Magnotta as in the winery (and the brewery, as well). The beers that come out of the Magnotta brewery are all branded True North, perhaps (for better or worse) to create a distinction from the products available from the winery. I think the beers had Magnotta labels abo...

Kind of annoying to resurrect an old thread, but I just wanted to say goodbye to a favourite....just finishing off my last two bottles now and will miss this one until next year. This year's unfiltered version is truly the best yet and it really does help me get through the long, cold winter....Call...

This is great news. I've really been looking forward to trying the reformulated Neustadt lager and I absolutely love the Galt Knife. I'm interested to see how the two have changed. I've always thought the Neustadt in particular was underrated. I wasn't sure what hop variety Neustadt was using for th...

Hi all! Long time lurker, first time poster. Happy to finally be aboard. I had the Stratford Bohemian a few weeks ago at the Cloak and Dagger and it seemes (as has been indicated here) to be a much different beer than the pils. Full, thick malt body and a good amount of hops. I was really surprised,...
