Was it ever determined what happened with the unearthly from last year, as far as the alcohol level? If I remember correctly, the lab report came back at about 6-7% while ST was claiming closer to 11.

Just curious if it was ever determined whether it was an error on the LCBO or ST side.

Is there any advantage either way, of using the slotted copper tubing and mashing in a cooler (as grub is doing, and as my friends and I have been doing), versus a stainless braid system like that easy mash system? or a false bottom in our converted keg?
