I got mine at the brewery store at Eglinton and Laird.

Picked up a sixer of this on Friday and it didn't last long. Does not disappoint on the hop front. I tasted some grape notes in there too.

I recall it was $12.95 when I bought it last year, but the LCBO put in on sale for $3 off towards the end of the season. My guess is that it wasn't moving too quickly ay $12.95.

"In snubbing local kegs, however, British traditionalists may have thrown out the baby with the bad lager..."

The date on both my bottles is mostly rubbed off but I think it says BB May 2017. Didn't see a production date.

I assumed that stuff in the basket at Crossroads was just regular price. And I agree their beer section is poorly managed. Wish they would put some of the good stuff on the cooled shelves. I was at Wilson & Dufferin last week and they had a bunch of stuff marked down at about 20% off including C...

I was there last night and there's no more clearance beer. It's really rare when it pops up.

Define "gems"? Pre 1990 Duvel glasses? or old Labatt shakers? Well maybe gem was the wrong word. I haven't got anything super rare or exotic at a thrift store. But most of my go-to glasses that I really enjoy using. Of course you have to sift through a lot of junk, but I've found snifters...

I get most of my glassware from Value Villiage, Goodwill and other thrift stores. Usually around a buck each and I've found some gems.

I know one for sure! It doesn't take much to convince me to visit the LCBO, but this wildcard clearance section at my local makes it a weekly necessity.

Anyone by chance know when exactly the Delirium will be available? The writeup in The Star today says it's "on shelves" but TBS site still lists it as "Kegs only". If The Star is correct, $2.95 per bottle ain't bad. http://www.thestar.com/life/food_wine/2014/10/01/delirium_treme...

Just spotted: De Molen Hel & Verdoemenis (Hell & Damnation).

Priced $3.50 per 330 ml bottle. Bottled Nov 2012. "Enjoy within 25 years." Two full cases on the shelf, minus the two bottles I picked up. Get 'em quick!

Same, mine's been well used for over a year. It feels really sturdy. I picked it up used from a thrift shop. Maybe the older Duvel glasses are more durable?
