id still love to see durham bottle one of their IPA's. something else that has crossed my mind is trying to get a member of the OCB to contract brew an IPA. there seems to be enough demand here on BT that Im fairly confident that the batch could be pre-sold and therefor no risk to the brewer. if a b...

I had a great time at the Castle last night with JesseM. The place was fuller then Ive ever seen it and its nice to see people enjoying craft beer on tap in K-W while they still can. The Castle on King will certainly be missed by anyone who ever had the pleasure of visiting.

with these price increases it makes liberty ale look a lot better at $4 a bomber. Liberty used to be my go to hop fix but as of late Ive been all over the ST. the success of these products at the LCBO should at least somewhat indicate to the OCB that IPA's can sell in Ontario at $14 a sixer.

Is it at a significant different alcohol % or an entirely new recipe? the last time i was down there I was talking to Rob and he said it was a new recipe. Im not sure about any alcohol difference since I havnt seen a ...

Standard LCBO reply does not provide any specific details. It usually says "other product submitted performed better against selection criteria". Perhaps it was seen as I direct competition to ST IPA. The large format is not helping either. Unfortunately, JahVa, Choklat, Tripel and Gemini...

We will keep trying, we're getting closer and closer. can you share the reasons this got rejected or are you even given reasons. i really would like to get some perspective on how the LCBO makes it...

St. Bernardus at the LCBO??

Was St. Bernardus ever at the LCBO?? I seem to remeber a gift pack sitting on the shelf when I first started with the board but Ive never seen it since becoming a beer geek. What if anything was ever availible from St. Bernardus?
