Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Church Key did a one off rye and year or two ago and it was quite well done. Agreed though that we need more (any)!

There was some brief chatter about this in the "What are you drinking" thread a few months ago http://www.bartowel.com/board/viewtopic.php?p=48642&highlight=#48642 but never a thread dedicated to it. I'm still working my way through the few cases I picked up from the brewery in early J...

Dutch, I think the fact that so many bartowelers have already made the trip is very encouraging (I know of approx 10 off hand) and also a reason maybe more did not show for this particular event. I don't know about others, but my August weekends were booked back in June. Personally, I do not like dr...

Congrats on a good event and thanks for the feedback guys. I'm looking forward to checking it out! I was, however, quite disappointed with the turn out. I was expecting a lot more people to be there with all the talk I hear about supporting Ontario breweries Hey now, do not equate a low turn out to ...

I bought 30 cans today from St Clair and Keele and they still had over 70 cans on the cold area shelves! If you want a consistent place to get it (for Toronto folks), I'd recommend this LCBO.

I've been buying 8 cans consistently since this was released, mostly from St Clair and Keele on their regular shelves (although it was in the cold section last time) and it has been solid every time. I guess it depends where you get it. My favourite beer of the summer by far.

Guys, is it that big of a deal? Why not just filter the memberlist, when you look at it, by number of posts - then you can see the 500 or so people who have made at least one legitimate post on bartowel and we can all feel better...

The Peche Mortel is certainly more expensive than in Quebec (approx $15/sixer), but also cheaper than in Buffalo ($36+tax and deposit according to a Buffalo friend). So I guess it all depends on where you are in the Province. I'll be buying it - Quebec is 4-5 hours away for me, and this beer is tota...

Thanks for the report Greg. I'm really glad to hear that the Great Lakes experiment went well! Is it just me, or does that total list of breweries seems rather short? Come on number crunchers, tell us in fact what % of Ontario brands are actually represented! Or how this list compares to the number ...

I had a can of it while working in my Dad's barn in Eastern Ontario last weekend and it was fine - I recall saying it was better than having a Coors light - it was a thirst quencher with lots of artificial but not all together unpleasant lime. Exactly as advertised. Much more drinkable than a Bud Li...
