Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
Jesus...drinking an Exchange Brewery "New England" IPA that was just released at the LCBO in cans. $4.25 I should add. It is absolutely horrendous. Looks like a west coast IPA and just tastes like alcohol. Hardly any discernible hops, and none of the qualities associated with the style. A...

Thirded. The new branding is pretty ghastly. Anyone tried the IPA?

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
Laser Show cans on the other hand... picked up a couple and thought they were both shit. Total disappointment and Left Field sent out some shit beer. I thought it may have been an old can or something that they just wanted to get rid of so sent them to the stores, but nope, early Jan. Zero haze and...

...I also don't think I've ever seen Clutch refrigerated either. It's always in the fridge at Roncesvalles/Bloor LCBO, if you're close to that area. Ahhh yes, you're right. Forgot about that. Sadly I live in the Beaches, so not there that often. I do get the glory that is the Coxwell and Queen LCBO...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
About 7 cases of CBS at King and Spadina. 530436. Surprised you guys like this so much. I had it at The Jim during the Founders tap takeover last Friday. Found it sickly sweet. Much prefer KBS or Kentucky Bastard. Loved the CBS and the Better Half at the Jim. The free glasses were a nice touch. Boo...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
Just popping in to say I tried the new Collingwood Winter Stout last night and it was surprisingly delicious. I prefer bourbon barrel aged imperials like I'm sure most do around here, but the 5% abv is a little better on the waistline.

Re: Collective Arts
Collective Arts used to be a staple in my fridge, but for whatever reason these past many months, I feel their quality is really slipping while the prices are rising. I buy much, much less CA product now. I think I'd rather drink a fresh Clutch than any CA IPA these days. Ditto for the most part. I...

Re: Worst Ontario Craft Breweries
I think lake of bays high prices have also contributed to their reputation here. If they were priced similar to the better alternatives, I think people would be more forgiving To continue the conversation, everything made in Brantford is bad That's a good point on LOB prices. regarding Brantf...

Re: Worst Ontario Craft Breweries
A vote for Lake of Bays always makes me laugh. The hatred towards them is so off base and totally irrational. Sure their beers tend to be on the safe (bland) side, but I can’t remember ever having an infected or even poorly made beer from them, besides the long defunct River Walker. Not to my taste...

Worst Ontario Craft Breweries
I got a case of the Mondays (12 pack) and I feel like throwing some shade, as the kids would say. What are the worst Ontario Craft breweries? Let's try and keep the pseudo craft places like Mill St. out of this. I'll vote for Lake of Bays, a brewery that routinely knocks it out of the park when it c...

Re: Collective Arts
Haven’t been able to get my hands on Yummy yet. I’m a big fan of Pink Fuzz....not such a big fan or Arimatherapy though(to be fair I’ve only had it twice, it may not have been super fresh, as they don’t date their cans for some reason) I haven't tried the Pink Fuzz. Heard it's great, but never been...
