Hey all, Sorry if these guys have already been covered, but I've been drinking a huge amount of Balls Falls Session IPA since it's been available at the LCBO. This is one of the juiciest IPAs I've tried, session or otherwise. Tastes kinda like a Jutsu light to me. Almost no malt presence to speak of...

Re: Help Identifying A Beer
guessing this is it. That's what I found when I tried to do some Googling myself, but it's not the one. Went back to the club today and the can was still where I left it, haha. Turns out it's The 87 double IPA from Night Shift brewery. Never heard of them before, but if you can get your hands on it...

Help Identifying A Beer
Hey guys, a couple nights ago I worked an event and someone left a strange tall boy that I'd never seen before on a table, so I gladly gobbled it up after work. I'm having trouble figuring out the exact name, but I know the number 80 or 88 was displayed largely on the front. Also, it was a double IP...

Re: General LCBO Debate & Discussion Thread
I really don't mind the IPA at all, I think it's solid. I polished off a few 12 packs last summer... +1. Goose Island is a good-value IPA that is fresh and flavorful, and that's a good product ethic. I like the regular Goose IPA too, but to me it drinks more like a session IPA. Bland, but refreshin...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
Maybe if the LCBO just stocked a few of these exclusives in-house instead of more sub-par Ontario craft lagers and ambers we wouldn't have an issue.
Rant over.

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
I was at the King/Spadina LCBO yesterday and someone had also left about six bottles of the Oud Beersel Oude Kriek! I convinced my buddy to buy one, but I'm currently too poor to afford them. Ten bucks for a 375ml.
There was five left. Doubt they'll last long.

Re: LCBO Online Ordering Launches
Anyone know the rhyme or reason behind why some beers can be ordered and others cannot? For instance, I can now have Paulaner delivered to my doorstep, but no dice on Mort Subite or Fullers ESB. Also, the LCBO discontinued London Pride. It appears that the lcbo may have come to their senses a...

Re: Random Reviews
Been enjoying Nicklebrook's Payson Saison in a can lately. Kinda drinks like a cross between an IPA and a wheat beer. Also tried their raspberry berliner in a bottle recently. I was pretty inebriated at the time, but I remember feeling rather meh about it. Not a big raspberry fan in general though. ...

Re: Beer for non-craft drinker guests?
Why not just buy macro? Isn't that what non-craft beer drinkers want - by definition - anyways?
You seem to have run the gamut of more accessible craft brews. All I could suggest is loading up on craft lagers.

Shame this place is so overpriced. You're better off going to Thirsty And Miserable, Bar Hop or Sin And Redemption/Town Crier/Prenup Pub.

Can't speak for the other locations but at Prenup we've had it pretty consistently the entire time. It's available right now on tap.lister wrote:What's the deal with De Koninck at the three places Orval_Al?
It's been forever since it's been available and it's never been taken off the menu.
