Anker Boscoulis, not too shabby, quite the punch of berry fruit. Earlier today I had one of Matt7215's Sour Brown Saisons on the back deck at sunset. Another delicious brew Matt! Yeah, that Mo fo needs a brewery! As does Derek, but he's leaving us for a lesser province, so fuck them overall!!!! My ...

why would they not vent the tank? or have a pressure relief valve on it? how is this even possibly?
Is there some kind of quickening on the process that would happen if you didn't vent or use the valve? Is it a cost cut?
Thats pretty brutal.

But how does that make them "not craft"? "Craft" is not an indicator of size, it's an indicator of quality - has the beer changed? With Unibroue, I'd say no. I personally don't drink it on enough of a regular basis to know. I wouldn't be suprised, just as I won't be suprised whe...

yes absolutely. based on the US sales of Unibroue, Sapporo has to be loving the fact that Sleeman bought them before they grabbed the whole kitty. But how does that make them "not craft"? "Craft" is not an indicator of size, it's an indicator of quality - has the beer changed? W...

Creemore stopped being a craft brewery as soon as it sold to Molson. It already is "just a premium brand in the Molson line up." Did Unibroue stop being craft beer when it sold to Sleeman? Or if not then, when Sapporo bought them both? yes absolutely. based on the US sales of Unibroue, Sa...

I bet they wouldn't give you one to keep, but some of the local breweries might be willing to sell a cask privately. I see no reason not too. Is the wedding in kitchener? call Grand River, or Wellington, or F&M, they'd also probably have a line (with enough notice) on supplying a tap for it to p...

I was talking to the Beau guys today. The reason they're listing that 12 pack at the beer store is so that they can get their empties back; currently the Beer Store is just smashing them. The fancy 12 pack will only be available at one Ottawa beer store and the brewery. I thought that was a pretty ...
