The optimist in me says that this is a good thing for brewers. Fewer snags when getting your beer to market through the LCBO. The pessimist in me says that this was brought on by the big brewers whining about ingredient/allergen list requirements on their products. Having nutmeg in your beer shouldn...

Got one last week. :(

Yeah, they don't want to hear what I have to say. i.e., running scared about losing sales to the convenience stores. What ticked me off most was the subtle way it's all framed as a government entity. Keep that going, TBS. Ugh.

I've contributed to this thread as I'm not unfamiliar with Cleveland but wanted to bump it up to see if there is anything new over the last year or so. I'll be there in December for a week hanging out in the Cleveland Heights area and plan on visiting the usual haunts: Melt, Happy Dog, Winking Lizar...

Was just at Waterloo City Centre LCBO and they didn't have the Two Captains. :( I picked up the Underlig Jul instead and then came home to read Matt's review of it. Then read El Pinguino's review. Will have to judge for myself. LOL

That's funny. I haven't been in there in a long time simply because of the beer selection. The last time I went in was because I have a colleague who likes Blue Nun wine (LOL) so I got her a bottle as a gift. I was just down that way yesterday and specifically avoided that LCBO. It makes me weep a l...

Hey folks, A couple things about isinglass and gelatin from a vegetarian (yeah, I know, there are 3 vegetarian beer nerds in Tronna, me, my brother, and one of my brother's buddies) ... First, all finings (whirlfloc / Irish moss, Polyclar, gelatin, DE, etc.) either drop out of suspension or filtere...
