Re: What're you drinking right now?

My 5 month old triplets were driving me nuts today, so it called for something high abv. 2013 Cameron's obsidian porter, which is tasting delicious. Along side a wee glass of Arran malt Amarone cask scotch

Re: Labatt buys Millstreet

I can give Mill St. some credit for me "re-focussing" on craft beer a few years ago when I had Tank House Ale for the first time at a party. Unfortunately, the last few times I've had it, it doesn't taste like I remember. Quite convinced it changed. I'm with you. Tankhouse was one of the ...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Stone Cali-belgique. I found it to be tasty enough, but pretty underwhelming. Give me the GL Audrey hopburn over that, especially given the prices

Re: LCBO 2015 Xmas Release

Nothing earth shattering, but, for me, there's still some good fall-back tasty beers that I enjoy each year(even if they are repetitive). I'll probably end up buying Sam smith warmer, both st berny products,St peters,Fullers as per usual. It would be nice to see more new/interesting stuff on there th...

Foley brothers pieces of 8 iipa. A friend brought this back from Vermont. It looks like it's a one off, which is a shame because it's fucking awesome. Loaded with tropical flavours and perfectly balanced. The best iipa I think I've ever had It's not good enough to just say it's awesome? Fucking nope

Re: Random Reviews

Agreed, most are quite mild......but I think sometimes there's a lot to be said for subtlety. I havnt had the imperial stout but I do love the oatmeal stout and wish the lcbo would carry it on a more regular basis

Re: Hamilton people, help??

Thx for the feedback. I found an lcbo within walking disrance(in Dundas). I'm Also currently at West End pub, which I stumbled across. It's on Emerson at, rift across from Hospital. A short 10 min walk down the street. It's a small place that's got a bit of a real back-home British pub feel to it. B...

Re: Random Reviews

Black Creek Pumpkin Ale: My first pumpkin of season. Fantastic: rich, spicy, complex, low carbonation - drinks like a cask beer. Advice: don't chill it or very little. Sam Smith Organic Pale Ale. Very fresh, better than last year's bottling IMO, but very mild-tasting, you have to tease out the flav...
