Anyone seen/heard anything about Unibroue "11"? Also, have you guys tried the new Quelque Chose. I think it is really terrific, but unless my memory is completely warped, I think the recipe is different than it used to be. It seems a lot less rich and sweet, and maybe more similar in body ...

They bottle (and export) that unfiltered lager as well - Mahr's Ungespundet Lager.

They also have an unfiltered Bock (Hell)

Both will hopefully be back in stock at Premier by the end of the month...

I've asked the distributor about World Wide Stout several times in the past few months. I called him today and left a message again. He's usually pretty good about getting right back to me. If we're able to get it, we will. _________________ Lyle Ostrow Premier Gourmet 3465 Delaware Avenue Kenmore, ...

a quick funny story about Schlitz Malt Liquor... We were on a ski trip in Austria and were having dinner in a restaurant in Innsbruck. On the menu was a beer list that included a curious entry - "American Bull Strong Beer." I asked the waiter if it had another name, and he said no - that t...

I remember getting a 'sales sheet' about Neewollah ('Halloween' backwards), but then it was never offered for sale. I've never actually seen a bottle. What'd it taste like? I think it was from the F. Josef Sailer Brewery. They do a lot of strange bottlings of altbiers - egs. all the 'collectible' Ju...

No - I'm not advocating handing out brews to the neighborhood children... Just for fun - anyone have any favorite Haloween-themed beer names? Off the top of my head - Pendle Witches Brew, Black Cat, RCH Pitchfork, Merlin's Ale, Skullsplitter, Nightmare Porter, Dead Guy Ale, Dixie Blackened Voodoo, W...

Okay, Here's a list of new arrivals today (and a few things that just came back in stock that have been o/s for a while). I don't have time this minute (or space) to write much about them, but if you have any questions, fire away. This is only the tip of the iceberg - I'll try to keep posting as the...

Greg, Yesterday, I pulled a 4-year old bottle of Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout out of my personal cellar and we tasted it next to the new stock. It aged tremendously. The aroma of the vintage beer was just phenomenal - rich and complex, with notes of molasses, figs, plums, roasty chocolate, and tre...

Hey guys, We have several huge orders coming in tomorrow (Monday) with new brews that aren't in our holiday release catalog or our product list. There is also a ton of new imported glassware from a bunch of breweries. I'll post a list tomorrow, once I see what actually arrives. Among other things, A...

I truly believe the festival will be back next year. I know that the parties involved in trying to organize the fest this year are immensely frustrated and feel they wasted a lot of time and energy essentially beating their heads against a beaurocratic wall. Hopefully, I'll personally have time to b...
