Re: Nickel Brook Brewing
You could post images of naked old folks having sex on your can's and I wouldn't give a crap. There are far more important things in life to be concerned about that actually make a difference in the world. Being offended about an image on a beer can is the type of thing I'll leave for the drama que...

Albino Rhino Beer festival 2017
Anyone going this year? It's probably the most underrated beer festival in Ontario. This year has over 30 brewers again and a number of food trucks including the Smoking Buddha who has been a guest on "You Gotta Eat Here!" on the Food network. I know Chad (the albino rhino) and he's a grea...

Re: Great Lakes Brewery - Octopus wants to fight
There is something about Ransack that turns me off. I've never been a huge fan of it however their new IPA Project #2 is fantastic. Maybe it's the waimea hops?

Re: Great Lakes Brewery - Octopus wants to fight
I find Octopus to be right up there with Lake Effect, Thrust and Karma. I'd go as far as saying this batch of Octopus is actually better then the last batch of Karma Citra.

Re: Left Field Brewery
LOL in other words, drink our beer faster and then come back and buy more. Growlers aren't that big and if you're leaving one too long that it spoils the beer then you bought too big. Maybe just single servings are best for some people. On the other hand if I open a crowler and decide I'm too tired ...

Re: What're you drinking right now?
Had the collective arts ipa project #2 and gotta admit I was blown away. Very good beer. Not sure yet where I'd put it on my personal tier list but it's definitely one I'd go back to get more of.

Re: What're you drinking right now?
Had the Super Collider 2.0 last night. Did not like at all. Thought it was a mess but I'm going to check the date later when I get back home. Tasted old.

I still prefer a growler. Once you've opened a crowler you have no choice but to finish it or transfer it to something that seals.BakaGaijin wrote:Let's get crowlers up here. Forget about growlers....

But might as well give it away or trade it since it's rare and people want it. That's my 'non Prud'homme Beer Specialist' opinion. 8) Trade and buy and drink what the heck you want, people. You have my permission - and I am a 'BT Legend', LOL. LOL...that was just me trying to add a little levity to...

Re: FT: Founders KBS; ISO: Trillium, Treehouse
I'm an Ontario beer geek and I wasn't even close to getting a KBS in the whole piddly 9000 bottles released. I guess if I wanted to drive the better part of 2 hours I could have but this is a huge province and that was a huge overstatement. That said unfortunately TS I have no trillium or Treehouse...

Tankhouse is the only beer I've ever returned to the LCBO for a refund. I like Tankhouse but if it's off it's really bad.

Re: Redline Brewhouse - Double Clutch
No need to explain "tartness". It made perfect sense to me and probably most other people as well.
