Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Although I saw the inventory on the employee's computer screen showed 0 despite the website showing they had it. I've had this experience ...

As far as I can tell Ayinger Octoberfest never showed up. As well as the Epic Coffee & Fig Oatmeal stout. :(

It was at the brewery retail store in Gravenhurst.

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

My original point is that I would be willing to support them a bit more if their price point was realistic. I think we'd all be drinking a lot more Bellwoods if the prices were lower. But as has been said before, they have a tough time keeping up with demand and lowering prices would only exacerbat...

Re: Forked River Gets Approval to Open Non-Attached Retail

I'm actually surprised the authorities were so flexible. Hopefully this leads to a slippery slope where brewers have more retailing opportunities.

Re: LCBO Autumn & Halloween/Oktoberfest Beer Releases 2015

Had a Viven Porter last night and thought it was great. Hits the mark as a smoked porter, but the smoke doesn't overpower the chocolate/coffee/roasty notes. Glad I picked up 6.

Still anxiously awaiting Epic Coffee & Fig Imperial Oatmeal Stout and Ayinger Novemberfest.

Re: Cask Days 2015

I'd be shocked if they held back any beer casks, considering how many were empty by session 4. Holding back ciders makes a bit of sense to not disappoint cider drinkers, as there was only 20 or so cider casks. Also I was charged regular price for the imports, whereas I was expecting the prices to be...

Re: Cask Days 2015

Can anyone else comment on whether or not the ciders, bellwoods, or monkish hard drive problems were pouring at the start of session 4? Ciders were pouring until the end of session 4, although the selection was limited. Monkish Hard Drive Problems was finished when I checked at about 9 p.m. I didn'...

Re: Cask Days 2015

This was my second Cask Days and overall it was a great time. Great beer and food and very well organized considering the scale. I was there on Saturday night and, as expected, many of the most exciting casks were finished. To make things run a little smoother I would suggest putting a sign in each ...

Where did they respond? Was this a private message to you? I have had no response and my crew is threatening to bail for potential game 7 Saturday night.
