Trillium Fort Point IPA Trillium A Street IPA Trillium Congress Street IPA ...at a hotel room in Boston. All fucking delish. Spent last week drinking a bunch of Trillium in a hotel room in Boston myself. Brought a ton of it back to Ontario too. Really great stuff. Did you manage to score any Upper ...

Went there about a month or so ago.

Weak tap selection, modest bourbon/whiskey choices.

BBQ was ok, but overpriced for the portions. Monarch is still my go to for all things BBQ-beer-whiskey related.

if one's a 8.5 out of 10 and one's a 9.5 out of 10, then yes, that is correct. In that case I would call the first one excellent and the second "outstanding", "superlative" or "world class" then. But it's just semantics I suppose. if Liam's saying it's a pretty good be...

This stuff is excellent I've drank two of these over the last two days, i wouldn't call it excellent(IMHO) but I agree that it's a damn tasty beer. What makes it not excellent then? I've had this beer as well, and I would also say that while it's not excellent, it's pretty good. To be excellent , i...

Oddly enough, I have heard of Longslice. I had their beer on draught in Downtown T.O. at some point mid-late last year.

It was a pretty bad fucking beer.

Congrats Jeremy and Matt.

Jeremy - I've had the pleasure of only having tried a couple of your homebrews, but they've been top class. Extremely excited to trying whatever you decide to brew going forward.

Best of luck!

Ehh.

Found this quite boring. Had it a couple months back but I can't remember my tasting notes, but I certainly wouldn't put this on my shopping list again.

Rodenbach Vintage was underwhelming. Smelled nice, but palate was a bit flat (flavour-wise). Glad I didn't buy more than my single bottles. I'd drink it again, but I'm not going to go out of my way to find it. Smuttynose Imperial Stout was heavily hopped. If you liked fresh Tempest (which I don't), ...

Had one a few weeks back and noted the same. Wasn't sure if it was the beer or my palate, but now I know! That's odd. I've never had even a mild sour note in Abyss before. But I also haven't had the 2014 yet. Will have to give it a try soon. 2009 was like that... infected. Didn't come across like a...
