Re: LCBO Autumn & Halloween/Oktoberfest Beer Releases 2015
anyone know whats up with the epic beer? The link to it on the lcbo site is not found. (and it's in stock at a bunch of lcbos) http://www.lcbo.com/lcbo/product/epic-coffee-fig-imperial-oatmeal-stout/429498 Last week a whole slew of products just disappeared from the site, and came back a day or two...

I'm eagerly awaiting for KB to reach Barrie. Until then I have stocked up on BB.spinrsx wrote:Anyone tried the 2015 version of the Kentucky Bastard that is now at the lcbo? How is it? Also, I noticed a new version of weendigo out too.

Strange, I just tried to search for Kentucky Bastard on the LCBO site and it's no longer listed. Even more disturbing is that all Nickel Brook products seem to have been removed from the site.sofakingdrunk wrote:Facebook page said Kentucky bastard is shipping to lcbos tomorow

Re: Nickel Brook Brewing
I can't wait to do a side by side review of both Bolshevik Bastard and Kentucky Bastard, two of my favourite stouts. I only wish I had held onto a final bottle of Winey Bastard from earlier this year. I was at the brewery about two weeks ago and picked one up. Could be worth a phone call if you rea...

Anyone know if a new batch of Rochefort 10 will be hitting Ontario before Xmas? Barrie LCBO's have been sold out for a couple months now.

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
I would definitely pick up a bottle (even at that price) if it wasn't such a limited release and had greater distribution throughout the province. Drive down to Toronto to buy a beer? Hell No.

Are you sure it's from the 2015 release? I'm pretty sure the current BB stock is what's left from last fall.rfrf wrote:skootles wrote:When does Kentucky Bastard usually come out again?

I've been to the brewery twice over the last month and each time they had new beers on shelves for decent prices. I've picked up: 1) 1606 2) Seven Weeks of Staying up All Night 3) Long Dark Voyage to Uranus (also in the LCBO) 4) Plantation 1 row 27 wet hop ale 5) Pointless Marketing Imperial Session...

True, they don't currently have a year round IPA offering in the LCBO.sprague11 wrote:I never cared for Devil's so I'm indifferent about I being continued. If one of their better IPA becomes a year-round offering through all of this I'll be happy.
