We're en route back to Toronto with an extra growler of HF Abner, filled this afternoon. I think I have too many to drink while they're still fresh (#firstworldproblems) so I'm open to trade offers from anyone in the area who would be able to meet me downtown to exchange. If it's any consolation, I dumb down what I write (on top of being limited for space)...and then it often gets dumbed down even more by my editors...which is even more frustrating for me as the writer than it is for you as the beer (geek) reader

waiting for Josh Rubin to write an article about Zwanze Day and not describe the beer as being "horrifically sour; most Bud and Canadian drinkers shouldn't bother to show up." Still though, if it's out early enough and anyone in the beer writing pushes anyone interested in the event to go...

Field Trip was the best run/organized festival I've ever been at...from the music, to TUM curating all of the food, to the kids section, to the artist collaborations, and, yes, the beer. It was one of the most fun days I've had in a long time.
