As to being worth my salt, I just scored a 43 in a BJCP comp, and best of class for my Berliner Weisse. Does that count? Depends who you ask. But at any rate, congratulations my central ontario friend. Hey, GFWCIPA does not attain all of it's 'hoppiness' from dry-hopping. However it is certainly a ...

Stopped in at Southern Tier on my way down to PA last night. Major expansion underway. Cool spot, great vibe on the patio. Tried Harvest Ale, 2XIPA and 2012 Pumking. Pulled Pork is okay...more sweet than tangy... http://beerpulse.com/2012/04/southern-tier-brewing-breaks-ground-on-new-expansion-eyes-...

Dry hopping imparts a grassy, resinous hop flavour to beer. 2. I don't appreciate grassy, resinous hop flavour. 3. T...

Bartowel (for years): "Give us American west coast IPA! Give us American west coast IPA!"

LCBO (finally): "OK, here ya go."

Bartowel: "Meh...not fresh enough."
