Re: Small Pony Barrel Works

If anyone else in Toronto, or nearby, wants to split a club membership, I'd be up for that.
Seems you get 2x of each bottle, so makes sense.
Could toss coins for the shirt vs glass, or I'd even forfeit them both for paying a bit less than 1/2 the cost of the club.

Re: What're you Deusing right now?

Pretty sure I have an old bottle of Deus kicking around too...had it once, and grabbed it way back during original LCBO release. But.....I'm also pretty sure it is not exactly meant to be aged for more than a 1-2 years, correct? I think when I checked the bottle recently it had a BB date of only 1-...

Re: Muddy York Brewing

Cool...thanks guys, that makes sense about the bourbon barrels then. I'm not a big bourbon drinker but imagine the bourbon craze is good for the craft beer movement too. Didn't know cognac barrels were bigger too....how about that.

Re: Muddy York Brewing

I was intrigued by the Barrel-Aged Plank Road Baltic Porter and was planning to pick up a few until I noticed the price. $10 for 355ml ?! Good grief, I'll pass. they didn't use bourbon barrels, which are supercheap. they also didn't blend it, so you're getting "cask strength" beer. it's a...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

The last Cuvee I had was not great either.
I was thinking I used to really like it, but looking back over the years, it was never a big winner for me....
