From a CABA email I received last month: "It will include beer and a Mexican theme lunch. There will be a time and place set aside to share homebrews." In the past there have been door prizes and the sponsoring breweries usually bring samples. If the samples aren't enough for you, you can ...

Yep. The talks from the brewers are always interesting and hopefully some of my entries do well in the competition.

I think the growlers went from $13 for the Common to $20 for the Witchshark, plus $6 deposit for the bottle.

Yeah, the honey I've been bringing in on the SOB forum is not any particular varietal, primarily a mix of wild and field flowers. However it is an excellent honey for mead at a very reasonable price ($81 for 14 kg). There is one more delivery coming before the summer on June 12 if you are interested...

No, I don't think it is your googling skills. It is oddly quite difficult to find the link to the website via Google. I think I finally found it via "session 99 toronto 2012" and even then it was 7 or 8 links down the page.

You're welcome.

By the way, Toronto Brewing and Durham Homebrew Club did do a Mango IPA on the Great Lakes pilot system that was available on the Friday night if the IPA challenge. Think it was called Mangoverboard or something like that.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by decent. They have the typical English pub beers. From the ones I recall that I'd drink are London Pride, Steam Whistle and Creemore. Sadly, most pubs in the immediate vicinity (block or 2) seem to offer similar or worse selection.

They still do, there were both Boneshaker and Tempest barrels when we were there for the grain buy a couple weeks back.

Just leave the blow off tube on throughout the entire primary fermentation, you don't need to change it.
