The Bar Towel

Has anyone heard anything about the how the renovations are going? I have been looking but cant seem to find anything. I might take a drive by after work.

Having a few bottles of homebrewed Hefe. Love the hallertau and sazz flavor.

went to taps brewpub in niagara falls. Had a pint of there belgian ipa with dinner. Never had the style before, but it was what i expected. Nice hop bitterness and flavor followed by alchol, and some spice from the yeast. It drank pretty well for 7.5%.

went to the parents for dinner tonight and they had bought me a six of brooklyn post pumpkin road. It was very good in a different way. Had a few buffalo bill pumpkin while making dinner tonight. Also had some home made cider that I bottled november '09 tasting very nice. Finally has a nice pronounced apple taste. Its also bone dry, and a carbonated.

They deffinetly need to renovate the niagars best. It is only a 2 years old or so I believe, but the interior is very strange. From the placement of tables, and small sized bar. Drinking my 2 bottles of sweet petes peach wheat. Very nice wheat beer with a good amount of yeast esters to spice it up. Peach is in the finish which is nice and dry. Not sure if I would know its a peach wheat without being told, but it is an excellent beer. Liked it on cask much more.

had a bottle of the great lakes miami weissendunkle tonight. Its a black wheat ipa, and it was awesoome. Notes of molasses, chocolate, and espresso. With a nice wallop of american c hops. Really impressed me with this offering.

Drinking my last tumbler brown. Very nice brown ale. The little bit of smoked malt keeps in interesting.

Damn I am going to be in the area on saturday too. Looks like ill have to wait a little longer to give this one a try.
