Re: … and maybe some Coffee Stouts to wash them down?

Is anybody putting together a Rogue Voodoo Donut vertical of sorts, for a shared tasting because I could imagine the event (and the resultant hangover) to be unforgettable. I've yet to try one of these freakish creations. Are they even sorta good? To be honest, I kind of liked the raspberry chocola...

Re: The Craft Brasserie & Grille

Decided to hit up Big Rock and The Craft last night as they both happened to be right around the corner from my office. Big Rock's patio thing was "cancelled" so they just stood there handing out free beers and 6-pack coupons (not that I was complaining). Went to The Craft and the mrs and ...

Re: New non-LCBO/TBS beer releases

A bit of a ways away now, but it looks like Bellwoods' next batch of Lambda will see a Fall release. https://twitter.com/bellwoodsbeer/status/597071710051962880 I recently cracked a bottle from their last release and it was gooooooood. Will definitely be picking up several of 'em when the time comes.

Re: Forum Upgrade Time!

It'll take some getting used to but I like it so far! My only suggestion is to add url redirects to keep old links to forum posts working. For example this old url just redirects to the forum index. This is the link modified to work with the new forum. Doesn't seem too tricky, looks like you just ne...

They released it once and they're supposed to be releasing it again. They posted this blog post at the end of August last year mentioning it would go into the old cognac barrels from the BOYD batch. I pinged them on twitter mid-February asking if they had any updates on it and a couple other beers a...

According to Wellington's Instagram page, Terrestrial India Brown Ale is coming to the LCBO in late May. I never got a chance to try this last year (given that I have no means of getting to Guelph) so I'm looking forward to it. http://i.imgur.com/1pDSqHFm.jpg Terrestrial India Brown Ale is being Re-...

Stayed in last night with the mrs and had a few we enjoyed: Bellwoods' Motley Cru (2014) Bellwoods' Motley Cru (2015) Beau's Thirty-three And A Third Beau's Smoked Helmüt They were all delicious. Motley 2014 had lost a lot of the hops (as I'd expected) but it was still slightly tart/sour. I didn't e...

Sounds Interesting. Label looks like 3996 bottles. Is that what everyone else is seeing too? Looks a bit like 39 5 6 to me but either way, that's a decent amount. Looks like I was right, bottle of Motley Cru 2015 says 3956 bottles. I arrived around 10:15 and the line was maybe 30-40 people deep. By...

Yeah, I drank the second last one of mine way back in August and even then you could tell the hops had faded. I knew being an IPA that it wouldn't retain it's full hoppy flavour but I'm still a little hopeful that it'll still be delicious. Can't wait.
