^^I wonder if their six pack sales have slipped? Tankhouse's glory days were circa 2007 (for me at least), but in single can form i might revisit once every decade or so.

^^^^^^ While not my favourite IPA, Red Racer is by far the best value ipa at $2.50 a can. I guess Sawdust is smaller and has higher production costs? Still, Muskoka produces Mad Tom at $2.95 per .

By far I mostly buy Tank Tens, other one offs and seasonal imports, but over the past few months: a lot of Detour and Naughty Neighbour interchangably as session ales and a few of Rhyme Headstock Mad Tom Red Racer Urquel Wellington RIS and a Chimay Bleu and Rochefort 8 for a direct tasting compariso...

Karma is my #1 as well, not surprised to see Lake Effect in there as well, both ipa's are far better than Smashbomb and Mad Tom which were the best lcbo ont ipa's when they first arrived until Tank 10 appeared, imo. Surprised that Choc Manifest is there (never heard much buzz about it..) along with ...

Excellent to see ST. A oatmeal coming in cans; hopefully the distribution will be more widespread than the six packs were.

Being a city-odic beer geek, I couldn't help but review Highlander's RB ratings just now---as I suspected due to the total lack of buzz about them on this forum, they suck!

Hungry Brew Hops (Newmarket)

I've now been to this gastropub about 8 or 9 times since it opened in the early spring. The beer selection (24 taps) is amazing for a location north of Eglinton and would still be solid / very good in TO's core. The interior is modern and rustic at the same time, and includes a massive vault at the ...

Le Trou Du Diable La Saison du Tracteur --This has become my favourite of the summer release. Not as dry / astringent as Dupont, this saison may / may not be a textbook saison but it sure has a satisfying texture and tons of fruity flavour with a spicy / bitter finish. I find having a Pilsner Urquel...

^You have certainly got me curious to try this IPA based on the history, but the RB rater giving it a perfect score across the board is a bit rich---that just sets it up to disappoint.

^ and ^^ --I find Cutthroat is more that caramelly malty type of pale ale like Publican or Conductor's, which are quite unlike pales such as Detour, Naughty Neighbour or Rhyme&Reason.

Not being a big pils / pale / euro lager fan I'm biased, but when i do have the sudden urge for a lcbo pils it is either King or Urquel. I don't find the others have the same snappy hop bite that i expect. king does need to be as fresh as possible as I find it does fade rather quickly; try it fresh ...

KING (TOWNSHIP) CRAFT BEER & FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL

I'm sure this will pale in comparison to the event down at dundas square, but if you're up in York Region this should be an enjoyable afternoon today. it's in King City at the baseball / soccer pitch behind the arena off King road near Keele. I believe they will have 10 brewers, including Flying Mon...
